The gull-wing shape of the M Type's handlebars has been used on the Brompton since the outset: the grip height is 1015mm, which gives a fairly upright ride with excellent control. The M Type is the all-rounder in the range and remains the most popular Brompton. This bar design accepts all Brompton front bag options. Brompton combine their 3 speed Sturmey BWR hub with their 2 speed derailleur to give six evenly-spaced gears. Its wide range make it the right choice for touring and for riding in hilly areas. In-store we can retro-fit seatpins and saddles. We can amend gear ratios to suit your needs (a small charge may apply). Front luggage and battery light options can also be added. |
